In the year 2472, expendable employee Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson) signs up for a one-way mission to colonize the ice planet Niflheim. His job? The ultimate blue-collar worker—sent on every deadly mission no one else will take. Because when Mickey dies, a new clone wakes up with all his memories... ready to die again.



But after 17 gruesome deaths, something glitches. Mickey-17 remembers too much—including the colony’s dark secret: they don’t plan to bring any expendables home. When a malfunction spawns both Mickey-17 and Mickey-18 simultaneously, the two clones must outsmart their corporate overlords (led by a chilling Steven Yeun) and the planet’s terrifying native lifeforms before the next "accident" erases them both.
